My mom has times that she weighs in and it will be low and then it jumps up a couple of pounds and then within a couple of days it settles back to the low number again and then she will lose more weight. I'd struggle with a blah weigh-in followed by a kick-ass one with no apparent rhyme or reason. My best guess is that the body wants to hold on to the pounds for as long as it can but is bound by the laws of physics to some degree. Keep up the hard work (and do a little better with the food), and that scale will pay you off eventually.
