Thanks for the tips for getting back on ...BIG HUGS! Thanks for the tips for getting back on track after a big eating occasion. At the beginning of the summer, I was down to 240 (I restarted my journey from 265). My cousin's graduation party sent me off track for a few months. Your tips seem so reasonable and easy!

You are doing GREAT!financecupcakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03781586611582887524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2779148918176002629.post-5640609390040367982009-11-28T09:23:01.538-05:002009-11-28T09:23:01.538-05:00It does piss me off when you tell people you'r...It does piss me off when you tell people you're trying to go for the 'healthy option' and they almost force food that you don't want - or need! - on you. I'll politely say "no thank you" a few times and then I tend to get a little sarcastic! Whatever tactics they employ, once I've made my mind up about something, nothing sways me!

Well done for enjoying Thansgiving and then Leaving It Behind and moving on with your healthy lifestyle. :o)Patsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16237128259799260713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2779148918176002629.post-11665484956085970902009-11-28T06:31:29.656-05:002009-11-28T06:31:29.656-05:00I couldn't agree with you more about not letti...I couldn't agree with you more about not letting OTHER people derail your plans. Sometimes you just gotta get a backbone and say no!

And that is so true that they don't want to be reminded. I can remember past times when we went out to an all-you-can eat place, and of course were gorging, and I was sooo annoyed at someone for constantly talking about the fat, the calories, the amounts, etc etc. I wanted to tell them just shut up and eat! I wanted to pig out and enjoy it, not feel guilty. That would come later, as always.

You did so well... this was such a nice change from past Thanksgivings when I would feel stuffed for days. No guilt, no shame, no "start over on Monday" promises to myself.

Nice. It was very nice. We did good!! Yay us!
Loretta
=^..^=Rettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10034267067410245582noreply@blogger.com
