The Journey So Far...

The Journey So Far...

Just a quick note:

To say that I am still here and haven't given up or fallen out of bloggyland. I am having a hard time right now, in more ways than one and this whole week has been full of epic failure. Not that that means the end or anything. If there is one thing I have learned over the past 10 months it is that I will never really fail unless I give up...and I am not. I will be back tomorrow to give you all a full update and to get back on the blog wagon. I need to be blogging every day! I don't care what anyone says, it really really helps me! So please forgive me for my absence and the failures that I plan to tell you about tomorrow night. Don't count me out yet, because who would give up almost 100lbs after less than a week of misbehaving? Not me.

Yep... no way to fail except to quit.

You got this.

Loretta nailed it...failure is quitting, not stumbling.

Lance Armstrong said something like "if you were afraid of falling off the bike, you'd never get on it". Champions fall off their bikes, often. People on a weight-loss program also stumble. The crowd expects the fall, they CHEER when we get back on the bike!

We all have rough spots. You will overcome yours and move forward. And Loretta is right, as long as you keep trying, you are not giving up.

Now, stop beating yourself up (yes, I know that is what you are doing and you don't deserve it!) and just get dust yourself off, get back on track and blog.

Awwww. I hate when that happens. If you check out my post from Thursday, you'll see that I had a trip and fall myself. Ack.

As Jack Sh*t once said, "You don't drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying in it."

You will hang in there. We are always going to have our rough spots but you will pull yourself up and go on. I know you can do it.

I won a little award and wanted to pass it on to you because I really love your blog, and in a way, my success is your success.

The award is:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9ZJVi-gWcPk/TEyHsTzjPgI/AAAAAAAAALo/uDHH2cbhvM4/s200/blogawardsubstance.JPG

The 3 rules for it are
1) thank the person that gave it to you
2) describe in 10 words your blogging philosophy, motivation, experience, etc..
3) Pass it on to 10 blogs you love

I know these things can be a little bothersome to do, so if you don't want to display it or pass it on, no hard feelings... just wanted you to know you were in my top 10, and whether you do it or not, you deserve it.

Thanks
~bloojay

Epic fail? I think not! Take the time you need - we'll be here when you're ready.

YAY! :) ALMOST TO 100 LBS LOST. WOWZA. I've been reading your blog and I'm mega-impressed. I'm just focusing on 20 right now, but after that, the eventual 200 more will come. I'm sure of it.

Hugs all around,
e.
