Day 218

I don't have too much to talk about today! I am having a relaxing night at home, or trying to anyway. I have been having a really good food week so far including today. I'm currently trying to figure out next weeks meal plan so that I don't have to try and get it done on Saturday night before going to the store on Sunday morning!

I miss the gym right now because not only does it make me feel better it gives me something positive to say! I'm going to take a walk with my husband before bed tonight, but that isnt the power of an elliptical work out. I'm going to have to be on point about food this week.

Today:
1/2 cup corn: 1
1 enchilada: 8
1 100 cal pack: 1
1 serving bean soup: 4
1 arnolds sand thin: 1
1 tbsp ranch: 1
1 serving spinach: 0
1 serving pickles: 0
1 veggie burger: 2
3/4 cup spiced couscous: 4
1 serving light chicken tikka: 6
1/2 cup peas: 1
1 fruit bar: 1
1 serving ice cream: 3
1 serving bean soup: 4
1/2 serving rice crisps: 1
38/41

A walk may not be time on the elliptical, but it is exercise...keep at it!

Good food weeks can do wonders for not being able to hit the gym. Keep your chin up!

i just wanted to let you know i really enjoy your blog, i haven't found many people close to my size with pcos at that, trying to loose weight.
i was wondering how much you like ww's. i go to TOPS....mostly because of costs( 5 a month at TOPS verses 40 at WWs. i just thought i would get your opinions on it.
have a great night and keep up the awesome work!

Al: Thanks!

P. Fit: I am trying!

Seth: I wish I could do the same for my mind!

Wendy: I know just how you feel...I used to scour the pcos message boards looking for other posters around my weight...

I do not know what TOPS is so I cant really compare anything to it, but I love WW. They even have a 200+lbs to lose board! They have an easy to follow plan, with a great support system. If you are going to do it get the monthly pass with the online support added (still just 40). Going to meetings is essential I think though if you can. The meetings are another anchor to your goals. The people are (in my experience) very friendly. You can even use the website to search out 50, 75 or 100+lbs to lose meetings in your area! This means the meeting leader has lost at least that much! Good luck!
